Backyard Burgers Closes After 11 Years On Gunbarrel Road

Backyard Burgers has closed after 11 years on Gunbarrel Road.

Officials said the Hixson Pike store will remain open.

However, owner Ron Willocks plans to put a barbeque restaurant at the site near Wal-Mart in East Brainerd.

The sign at the closed unit says "Closed After 11 Good Years."

Moody's Lowers Erlanger's Bond Rating From A3 To Baa1

Moody's Investors Service has downgraded to Baa1 from A3 the rating assigned to Erlanger Health System's $172 million of outstanding bonds issued by the Chattanooga-Hamilton County Hospital Authority.
