Monteagle winery operator Louise Marlow will have to serve one year in jail after pleading no contest in Coffee County to having her husband shot and killed.
She was sentenced on Tuesday to the one year at the Coffee County Jail followed by six years of probation.
The 74-year-old defendant in July was given a seven-year prison term.
Prosecutors say she admitted arranging the shooting death of her husband, Joe Marlow, Sr. He was shot to death in the couple's driveway in February, 2000.
Her plea was to reckless homicide.
Authorities said she got a former employee at the Monteagle Wine Cellars, Roger Wimley, to carry out the murder.
Wimley's case has not yet been handled.
