Whiteside, Rev. William

Dr. William H. Whiteside, 93, died Saturday, June 22, 2002, in a local hospital.

He was a former member of New Hope Baptist Church. At present, he was pastor of Good Neighbors New Testament Church.

He is survived by his wife, Annie Maude Whiteside; two granddaughters, Gloria L. Bowens and Ann Knight of Huber Heights, Ohio; three great-grandsons; sisters-in-law, Ruth Mitchell, Ola C. Fitzpatrick and Mary Estes; cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m., Greater Tucker Missionary Baptist Church, Pastor Melvin Thompson, Dr. M.T. Billingsley and Elder James Penny officiating.

Burial is at Greenwood Cemetery.

The body will lie in state noon-1 p.m. Tuesday at Greater Tucker Missionary Baptist Church.

Visitation is Monoday, 7-8 p.m., Good Neighbors New Testament Church.

Arrangements are by Franklin-Strickland Funeral Home.
