Cantrell, Herschel

Herschel Forrest Cantrell, 58, of Chickamauga, died on Wednesday, September 18, 2002.

Mr. Cantrell was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He was retired from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga where he worked in communications.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Herschel L. and Mary Ireland Cantrell; and brother, Robert Cantrell.

Survivors include his sister, Joyce Woodlee of East Ridge, TN; an Aunt Beatrice Bolt of Chickamauga; several cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday graveside at Chickamauga Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. and then on Friday until funeral time, at the funeral home.

Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Home, J. Avery Bryan Chapel in Chickamauga.
