Shelton, Robin Elizabeth

  • Tuesday, November 2, 2004

Robin Elizabeth Shelton, 26, died on Monday, Nov. 1, 2004.

In the path she walked, Robin showed the true meaning of unconditional love. She was and will always be a little ray of sunshine that the clouds of life will never dim.

Robin attended Orange Grove Center until May of 1999. Since then, she had enjoyed a life of leisure, which included daily trips with her mom and dad, spending time at the lake, and perhaps her favorite thing of all, listening to Barney. Although she could never express herself through words, Robin touched the lives of everyone who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, W.A. Shelton Sr. and Norton Clark "Rusty" Rusbridge.

Robin will be missed greatly by her parents, Dr. and Mrs. Robert (Annette) Shelton; sister and brother-in-law, LeAnn and Chris Merrell; niece, Loxley; and nephew, Jacob; grandmothers, Mrs. W.A. Shelton and Mrs. Louise Posey; uncle and aunt, Dr. W.A. (Claudia) Shelton Jr.; and a multitude of family and friends.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Lane Funeral Home, Coulter Chapel, with the Rev. William P. Colter officiating.

Interment will be in Chattanooga Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions may be made to Orange Grove Center.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Lane Funeral Home, Coulter Chapel, 601 Ashland Terrace, 877-3524.
