Bruce B. McBryar, 72, of Chattanooga, died Sunday evening, Dec. 5, 2004, at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville.
He was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area and was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Edith Hobbs McBryar, and a brother Charles McBryar.
He was a general contractor for residential building and was a member of Carpenter’s Local 74. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy Atchley McBryar; daughter, Renee LaRosa of Montgomery, AL; son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Kim McBryar of East Ridge; three grandchildren, Mandi McBryar Jenkins and her husband, James Chase, of Cleveland, TN, Bryan LaRosa and his wife, Beth, of Chattanooga, Chad and his wife, Garrin McBryar, of Chattanooga; two great-grandchildren, Chandler Jenkins and Ansley McBryar; three sisters, Marie Crane, Juanita Russell, Helen Manis, all of Chattanooga; three brothers, Kenneth McBryar and Tommy McBryar, both of Chattanooga, and Wilburn McBryar of Ringgold, GA, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday in the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Minister Jeff Brown and Jerry Sanders officiating.
Interment will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5–8 p.m. and Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist East Chapel.
