Richard Allen Lomax, 56 of Harrison, died Sunday, Feb. 15, 2004, at his home.

He was born in Haddonfield, N.J. He was a member of Brainerd Hills Baptist Church. He served as a guidance counselor with the Hamilton County Department of Education since 1993. He loved working with children.

He is survived by his wife, Margery F. Lomax; two daughters, Jennifer Mulac and Laura Lomax; one sister, Carol Strohben of Pinehurst, N.C.; four brothers, Donald Lomax of Bel Air, Md., Joseph Lomax of Cape May Court House, N.J., David Lomax of York, Pa., Stephen Lomax of Carney's Point, N.J.

A memorial service will be held Saturday at Brainerd Hills Baptist Church.

Following the service a reception will be held for family and friends at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Ronald McDonald House, in Chattanooga.

Arrangements are by the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.

Kinser, Waldo Oran (Chatsworth)

Waldo Oran Kinser, 58, of Chatsworth, Ga., died Sunday, February 12, 2012 at his residence. Waldo was born May 12, 1953 in Ellijay, Ga., a son of the late Wilbur Oran and Texxie Dotson Kinser; and was also preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Kinser; and sister, Debbie Kinser. Mother Of Man Charged With Killing Sgt. Chapin Given Prison Sentence Of 30 Years, 6 Months

The mother of the man charged with killing Chattanooga Police Sgt. Michael Lamar Johnston Must Wait Almost Two More Months Before Learning Sentence
