MARIETTA, GA— The Southern League of Professional Baseball announced its updated rosters for the 2004 Southern League All-Star Game, to be held at BellSouth Park in Chattanooga, TN on July 13th.

The last time Chattanooga hosted the SL All Star Game was 14 years ago in 1990 at Historic Engel Stadium.

The 2004 Eastern Division All-Star team is as follows:

The Chattanooga Lookouts announce that a limited number of tickets are available to the public for the Southern League All-Star Luncheon, scheduled for Tuesday, July 13th from 11:30 am until 1:30 p.m.

The price of a ticket is $35.00 and may be purchased through the Lookouts Front Office at 267-2208, extension 111.

The Luncheon will include a Southern League Awards Ceremony and a deluxe deli buffet. In addition, entertainment will be provided by comedian Karen Mills from the Comedy Catch, who has been featured on the “Jon Stewart Show” and was a contributing writer for the “Rosie O’Donnell Show.”

Mother Of Man Charged With Killing Sgt. Chapin Given Prison Sentence Of 30 Years, 6 Months

The mother of the man charged with killing Chattanooga Police Sgt. Michael Lamar Johnston Must Wait Almost Two More Months Before Learning Sentence

I would like to thank Judge Mattice for handing down a 30.5 year sentence for Kathleen Mathews.  Obviously, no amount of jail time, fines, or lashings can bring back Tim Chapin.   A 30-year sentence will, however, make the world just a little safer.  That's what Sgt.
