Powerball Player From Fairview, Tn., Wins $500,000

A Powerball player in Fairview, Tn., won $500,000 in the latest drawing.

Tennessee’s Powerball game produced 29,176 winners who purchased tickets from retailers in the state, including one $100,000 winning ticket, purchased in Fairview, which was quintupled to $500,000 by choosing the Power Play option.

Another 6,058 winners selected the Power Play option, which also multiplied their winnings by five.

The Powerball jackpot for the next drawing on Saturday, Aug. 28, is estimated at $28 million.

Powerball drawings are held on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 9:59 p.m. CST (10:59 p.m. EST). Watch for drawings at 10 p.m. CST (11 p.m. EST) on official Tennessee Lottery television stations throughout Tennessee.
