Erlanger Baby Fair April 23

Erlanger will host “Spring Training” – A Baby Fair at the Women’s East Campus, the region’s premier low-risk birthing facility, Saturday, April 23, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The fair will feature the latest information on breastfeeding, pre-natal classes, nutrition and more, as well as booths showcasing the newest trends in nursery décor, clothing and toys. In addition, expectant mothers will be given a chance to register for a Chattanooga Lookouts Skybox Baby Shower, a $250 shopping spree at Babies R Us, as well as other door prizes and giveaways.

Spring Training will also include tours of the Women’s Services maternity floors, including the birthing suites, special care nursery and holding nursery and area healthcare professionals will give lectures on everything from breastfeeding to tips for the whole family.

Admission and shuttle service from the parking lot are free. Please register by calling 778-LINK (778-5465) Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Mark Phillips Was Victim In Fatal Hixson Pike Wreck

Mark Phillips, 54, was the victim in a fatal Hixson Pike wreck on Saturday afternoon. Police said the driver of the Ford F150 that went out of control and struck the Phillips vehicle was 68-year-old Warren Elliott.
