While posing for his Featured Pet photograph Joe attracted a smiling audience of passersby in the Humane Society lobby. There were grins and chuckles as Joe's ears perked up and down as he twirled around the feet of a kennel worker.

Eventually Joe paused long enough for the camera to capture his short and smooth black and white coat, accented by his alert brown eyes. Joe is a Labrador Retriever mix puppy with a long tail and an endearing personality. Joe seeks a loving home. Introduce yourself to Joe at the Margaret Brock Pet Adoption Center at the Humane Society (Animal Reference code #66197).

Kennel hours are 11-4 Monday-Saturday. Thursday hours are 11-6. The Humane Society is located at 212 N. Highland Park Avenue in Chattanooga. The phone for the Margaret Brock Pet Adoption Center is 622-3738.

Thank You, Judge Mattice And Chattanooga

I would like to thank Judge Mattice for handing down a 30.5 year sentence for Kathleen Mathews.  Obviously, no amount of jail time, fines, or lashings can bring back Tim Chapin.   A 30-year sentence will, however, make the world just a little safer.  That's what Sgt. Chapin would have wanted.  He was a protector and sacrificed his life so the rest of ... (click for more)
