Wilma Maybell Stewart, 68, of Chattanooga, died Wednesday, March 30, 2005, in a Chattanooga hospital.

Mrs. Stewart was an employee of North Georgia Heat and Air.

She was preceded in death by parents, Charlie and Easter Snyder Stewart; daughter, Rachael Cameron; sisters, Viola Sutherland and Mazzell Titshaw; and brothers, Thomas Stewart and Cecil Stewart.

She is survived by her husband, James Melson, Chattanooga; sons, Harold Brown, and Gerald Brown, Chattanooga; sisters, Bernice Cunningham, Geneva Brown and Pauline Cain, of Dunlap, TN; brothers, Radus Stewart, Chattanooga, Lloyd Stewart, Dunlap; stepmother, Corine Stewart; half sisters, Cleo Hobbs and Teresa Kirkpatrick; half brother, Raymond Stewart, Foster Stewart and Simon Stewart, all of Dunlap; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. CST Saturday in Ewton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bobby Hilley officiating.

Burial will be in Graham Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be James Lee Stewart, Terry Barker, David McWilliams, Daniel McWilliams, Norman Simmons, Bob Brown.

Arrangements are by Ewton Funeral Home, 6936 Highway 28, Dunlap.

Child, 23 Months, Found Dead In Crib With Fentanyl Patch On Back; Death Ruled Homicide

A 23-month-old Chattanooga boy has been found dead in his crib with a Fentanyl patch on his back. The death of Demarcus Bryant at 7655 Borris Dr. last month was ruled a homicide.
