Norris McAfee died Saturday, April 2, 2005.
On Oct. 23, 1924, Norris was born to the proud parents of Fletcher and Sudie McAfee.
He was preceded in death by parents, Fletcher and Sudie McAfee; grandchild, Juan M. Walker; and nephew, Gerald McAfee.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Norma Jean; children, Edward Lamar McAfee, Munzel McAfee-Johnson, Tunya Jo McAfee, Michael McAfee and Velma Ramsey-Union; grandchildren, La Keshia McAfee, Tiyana Wainwright, Junius Rogers Johnson, Shaun McAfee, Andress Walker; great-grandchildren, Tyree, Destiny, Aliah, Kierra McAfee and Angelique Mathews; brother, Dennis (Ruby) McAfee; nieces and nephews, Dennis Jr., Darren and Quantina McAfee; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services are 1 p.m. Saturday at Avondale Chapel with Bishop A.D. Ringer officiating.
Interment is in Greenwood Cemetery.
Visitation is after noon Friday at the Avondale Chapel of Franklin-Strickland Funeral Directors.
