Mayor Ron Littlefield hosts his fourth neighborhood meeting tonight (Thursday) in Councilwoman Marti Rutherford’s district 6.
The purpose of the meeting is to build stronger more unified neighborhoods through effective communication with citizens and neighborhood organizations, officials said.
“Great Neighborhoods are the bedrock of great cities. Such neighborhoods are founded upon the strength and mobilization of active neighborhood organizations, effective community stakeholders, and strategic and effective code enforcement in partnership with a responsive government,” said Mayor Littlefield.
Every administrator and several representatives from all departments will be in attendance to address concerns of District 6 residents.
The meeting will be at 5:30 p.m. at Eastgate Mall, 5600 Brainerd Road.
