Billy Clark Morrison, 67, died Tuesday, April 18, 2006.

He was born on May 25, 1938, to Ben and Jessie Tate Morrison, Jr., who preceded him in death along with his daughter, Lois Darlene Morrison and brother, Lannie David Morrison.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Pauline Shadrick Morrison; son, Randy Morrison, Columbia, MO; daughters, Tammy (Mike) Morehead, Bluford, IL, Sherry (Joe) Davis, Wayne City, IL, Paula (Rodney) Hughes, Columbia, MO; brothers, Jack (Joyce), Jeff (Kyra) and Danny (Cindy) Morrison, all of Palmer, Jim Bob Morrison, Mount Vernon, IL; sisters, Judy (Dennis) Kelley, Palmer, Betty (Charles) Floyd and Susan Diane Layne, Whitwell, Laura Ellen Wilson, Aurora, IL, Carol (Bobby) Stewart, Mount Vernon, IL; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. CDT Friday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Bill Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Palmer City Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 2 p.m. CDT Thursday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer.

Robert "Bob" Gill, 64, of Soddy Daisy, died on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at his residence. He was born in Chattanooga on June 1, 1947 to Kyle and Jesse Gill. Mark Phillips Was Victim In Fatal Hixson Pike Wreck

Mark Phillips, 54, was the victim in a fatal Hixson Pike wreck on Saturday afternoon. Police said the driver of the Ford F150 that went out of control and struck the Phillips vehicle was 68-year-old Warren Elliott.
