The week-long Science and Technology Academy at Bright School is scheduled for June 26-30.
Mr. I.V. Hill, an elementary educator who exudes a passion for teaching, will explore things in the world through hands-on activities.
Topics for the week include being a good “earth keeper,” simple machines, basic construction, planes, trains and automobiles and “open it up – look inside.”
The Science and Technology Academy focuses on creativity and exploration in a multitude of ways. The week will end with an official graduation ceremony and a picnic for campers and their parents.
Camp begins at 9 a.m. each day, and ends at 2 p.m. The cost is $250 per child, and enrollment is limited to rising first and second graders.
