Moody's Lowers Erlanger's Bond Rating From A3 To Baa1

Moody's Investors Service has downgraded to Baa1 from A3 the rating assigned to Erlanger Health System's $172 million of outstanding bonds issued by the Chattanooga-Hamilton County Hospital Authority. Losses at Erlanger at Hutcheson Hospital rose to $1.9 million in April. It was the fifth straight month of increasing losses at the Fort Oglethorpe facility, dating back to $894,354 last December.
