Louella Pierce Winton, of Chattanooga, died on Tuesday morning, July 4, 2006, in a local hospital. She was 91.
Mrs. Winton was a native of Trion, GA, and came to Chattanooga at an early age. She had been an active member of Clifton Hills Baptist Church for most of her life.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy S. Winton.
She is survived by her sons, Lebron Winton, and Dan, and his wife, Carol Winton, all of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Adam Winton, Steve Winton and Amy Winton; great-grandchildren, Gage Winton, Alyssa Winton and Mason Mize.
The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Fiorello and the Rev. Bill Peterson officiating. Interment will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
