Hank Hill Will Do The Job Right

Wednesday, August 02, 2006

I met Hank Hill 36 years ago at UT. We became good friends as resident assistants in our dormitory. The thing about Hank at that time, was he already seemed to know everyone on campus. His gregarious nature and giving personality were a magnet to
all.

However, it wasn’t till we later became roommates off campus that I discovered the balance of this man. Whether we talked about politics, religion, ethics, education, sports,
music, food, or anything else, Hank had an opinion; and more importantly, could back it up with knowledge and research. He lived life to its fullest by studying hard, being involved, playing hard but fair, and always proclaiming his desire to better understand the law. When he went on to law school and gained his “15 minutes” of national fame in the highest court in the land - while still in law school - I was not surprised.

Though our lives have taken different paths since those days, I have always been glad to call him a friend. To this day, I read a newspaper and follow world events daily to stay informed, mainly because Hank insisted to me back then that governments are overthrown, only when "the people" quit paying attention. Through his practice, he has helped me, family members, and acquaintances with accurate professional legal counsel.

I have even overheard an admired judge in this city, say he appreciated that Hank had always been prepared and professional in his courtroom. Personally, if I was ever in any kind of situation where I needed someone to cover my back - in or out of court - I would trust Hank.

So, please get out and vote for Hank Hill for Sessions Court judge, Division 1. If elected, I am confident he will do his job right.

I have cast my vote to elect Hank Hill for General Sessions Court Judge, Div. I.

Sessions Court is an important part of our judicial branch. The individual who is elected to this position must have intelligence, common sense, a work ethic, integrity, knowledge of the law and experience in the courtroom. Hank Hill's resume qualifies him for the job. Hank has 28 years of experience in the courtroom. He has tried more than 100 jury trials including several death penalty cases. He has practiced in Sessions Court almost everyday of his legal career. Hank Hill has more experience in Sessions Court than the other four candidates combined. Because of his experience Hank Hill can listen to the facts and apply the law as a seasoned jurist with fairness and impartiality

I know Hank Hill is an excellent choice for the people of Hamilton County.
