Ansley Reagan, Danielle Colburn Win Titles

Ansley Reagan was crowned Miss Hamilton County 2007 on Saturday evening at the C.C. Bond Theatre during the first of the two-day Hamilton County Scholarship Pageant competitions.

Danielle Colburn of Memphis was named Miss Tennessee Valley 2007.

Ms. Reagan, an Ooltewah resident and Lee University senior, will make her third trip to the Miss Tennessee Pageant in June.

She was first runner-up as Miss Cleveland to reigning titleholder Blaire Pancake of Chattanooga.

Danielle Colburn is a senior broadcast journalism major at Middle Tennessee State University.

She will crown her successor to the Miss Southeast Tennessee title on Sunday afternoon.

Miss Colburn, who performed "Your Daddy's Son," tied for overall talent with Ansley Reagan, who is the new Miss Hamilton County.

The mother of the man charged with killing Chattanooga Police Sgt. I would like to thank Judge Mattice for handing down a 30.5 year sentence for Kathleen Mathews.  Obviously, no amount of jail time, fines, or lashings can bring back Tim Chapin.   A 30-year sentence will, however, make the world just a little safer.  That's what Sgt.
