Graham, Allen Dean

Air Force Veteran Retired From Kenworth of Chattanooga

Allen Dean Graham, 79, died on Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2006, at his residence.

A resident of the Chattanooga area for the past 53 years, he was born in La Follette, Tn., to the late Elmer and Vinnie Carol Graham, and was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Elizabeth Graham; two daughters, Robin Pressley and Sandra Cooper.

He served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II and retired as a parts manager at Kenworth of Chattanooga.

He is survived by his children and their spouses, Teresa and Donald Roberts, of Fort Oglethorpe, Randall and Cindy Graham, of Chickamauga, Ga., Michael and Melanie Graham, of Decatur, Tn., Angela and Roger Greathouse, of Trenton, Ga., and James Graham, of Rossville; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Coleman and the Rev. Harold Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South, with military honors.

The family will receive friends Wednesday after 4 p.m., all day Thursday, and until funeral time on Friday at the funeral home.

Arrangements are by W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home, Fort Oglethorpe.

Donald Thomas Ossmann, 82, of Ringgold, Georgia, died on Friday, February 10, 2012.  A native of Chicago, Il., he had lived in the Ringgold area for the past four years and was formerly of Lecanto, Fla. Jessie F. Mark Phillips Was Victim In Fatal Hixson Pike Wreck

Mark Phillips, 54, was the victim in a fatal Hixson Pike wreck on Saturday afternoon. Police said the driver of the Ford F150 that went out of control and struck the Phillips vehicle was 68-year-old Warren Elliott.
