Through an exclusive marketing agreement between Prudential Real Estate Affiliates, Inc. and Yahoo! Real Estate, Prudential RealtyCenter.com is now providing information about the Tennessee Valley and North Georgia region real estate to Internet viewers worldwide who visit Yahoo! and click on Yahoo! Real Estate.

“The Internet is the first stop for 78 percent of homebuyers today who are researching the purchase of a new home”, said Brian Kelly, president of Prudential RealtyCenter.com. “Now local residents and consumers worldwide can access detailed information on real estate in the Chattanooga area or anywhere in the nation via the largest portal on the Internet.”

Consumers anywhere who visit Yahoo!, click on Real Estate and type in Chattanooga or its zip code migrate to the Prudential RealtyCenter.com website, where they have access to current listings information on all Chattanooga area homes listed with the local Multiple Listing Service (MLS).

In addition to viewing local listings, consumers can get market statistics such as property values in local neighborhoods, area school and neighborhood profiles, maps and driving directions and more.

Viewers who choose to register on the site will receive enhanced information including price change and new listing alerts, virtual home tours and the ability to set up their own portfolio to save properties that interest them.

They may also communicate with a Prudential RealtyCenter.com sales professional and/or request a personal home tour at any time.

“We are pleased to offer homebuyers fresh and current listings information in the privacy of their living rooms 24/7 and to offer sellers the breadth of exposure only available via a giant Internet portal,” said Mr. Kelly.

Yahoo! reaches more than 62 percent of all Internet users, drawing 95 million unique visitors each month including seven million real estate related searches and more than two million unique visitors to Yahoo! Real Estate. Prudential Real Estate has just introduced the Online Seller Advantage Program. Sellers who list their homes with Prudential RealtyCenter.com can have their homes featured on the Yahoo! They also receive daily email updates on how many people have viewed their home online, how many are keeping their home in their portfolios and how many other homes like theirs are currently on the market.
