Johnny Gordon Blaylock, 70, of Sale Creek, Tn., died on October 26, 2007.

He was a member of the Unity Baptist Church. Mr. Blaylock served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was an Ironworker by trade, being a member of the Iron Worker’s Local #704. He was an avid sports fan and his favorite hobby was tinkering with lawn mowers. But most of all, he was a loving Papaw to Conner.

His wife, Judy McNabb Blaylock; parents, Coy and Lottie Blaylock; and a brother, Ralph Blaylock, preceded him in death.

He is survived by his son, Jason Blaylock; grandson, Conner Blaylock; brothers, Paul Blaylock, Clyde (Sue) Blaylock; sister, Janie (Buddy) May and several loving family and friends.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, in the chapel of Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with Bishop Grant Blaylock officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

Visitation is from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. on Sunday.
