Chattanoogans supporting presidential candidate Ron Paul traveled to Nashville to see him make a campaign stop on Saturday.

Briann Lambert of East Ridge said she drove to Nashville "to meet the only Republican running taking a stance on a humble foreign policy, meaning no nation building, and a defender of our Constitution. His message of freedom and liberty is gaining him popularity daily, and he recently raised over $5 million in the third quarter of fundraising.

"He is more like Ronald Reagan than any other candidate, even though they all claim to be from the Reagan mold. He is the only true pro-life candidate, and the only candidate running that will truly end the war in Iraq."

Ms. Lambert said the official count at the rally was 1,440.

She said, "Some came from out of state to see him. The Ron Paul Chattanooga meetup group was there."

We Are Blessed To Have Ron Littlefield As Our Mayor - And Response (2)

Chattanooga is blessed beyond measure to have Ron Littlefield as our mayor.  It is a total travesty our city has had to endure the long frivolous battle with absolutely  no foundation other than disagreement with policy issues.  It has always been a vendetta directed personally at Mayor Littlefield which, if the "interveners" decide to appeal, will be a proven fact.   ...
