Police Blotter: Baby's Daddy Upset About New Boyfriend

Nina Watson of Sherman Street said her baby's father, Mike Wofford, was upset when he found out she went out on a date with another man.

She said Wofford came over to her house and was yelling at her.

He was gone when police arrived.

Johnny Parden said "Lamar" flirted with his sister-in-law, Brandy Reynolds, at a club on Brainerd Road and she rejected him. He said he and Lamar argued, and Lamar called him outside for a fight.

Parden, who said he went outside armed with a pool cue, suffered bruises to his face. He said Lamar also punched Ms. Reynolds with his fist.

Lamar was gone when police got there.

Emily Tarvin of Grove Street Court said someone keeps knocking at her front window.

She said it always happens at night.

Police answered a call of a disorder in a car on Dallas Road.

Charles Mooney and India Kendrick said they were not fighting. They were jamming to some rock music.

A Sherman Street resident asked police to check on the house next door, saying crying was coming from the residence.

An officer knocked on the door and was told that everything was fine. An infant daughter had just woken up for her early morning feeding.
