Although I don't live in District 6, if I did I would most certainly cast my vote for Rick Igou.
Rick Igou has lived in Chattanooga all of his life except when he was serving our country in Vietnam. Rick Igou was a pioneer in the field of talk shows. He was one of the first in this area to allow the citizenry to speak their minds on the airwaves. This tradition continues through the website Nooga.com.
Mr. Igou is the type of person who listens to people and has a genuine concern for the well being of others. Rick Igou will be accessible to the people in district 6. He will listen to ideas and he won't be afraid to go against the grain in order to do what is right.
Sure, you can vote for the power structure candidate or even the special interest candidate, but if you want an honest, principled man of integrity who is one of us, then a vote for Rick Igou would be the most logical choice.

To all the voters in District 6, please consider voting for Rick Igou. Rick Igou has been a resident of this community for 40+ years, only being away for a while serving his country in the Vietnam War.
Rick is a man of the people who doesn't seek fame or fortune, but desires to serve the community. He has been leading the poll at Chattanoogan.com and it's no wonder. The folks who have followed Rick's unbought and unbiased reporting of the local news at Nooga.com have seen firsthand the type of individual Rick Igou is.
You may not agree with Rick all of the time, but at least he isn't afraid to tell it like it is, much like the late Howard Cosell. Rick has weathered many storms and is a survivor. Let's all get out and support Rick Igou for District 6.

I can think of no finer representative than Rick Igou. He has been a fixture in the community for as long as I can recall.
I am now living in the Metro Atlanta area and wish we had someone like Rick Igou to represent us. Rick is loyal to the community, outgoing and fearless in doing the right thing. Rick has been involved in many civic activities over the years and is intimately familiar with Chattanooga and Hamilton County. He knows what works and what does not. I know that Rick would be a crusader for justice and an enemy of corruption.
Rick, if you are reading this…please do more to get your message out there. Let the people of District 6 know that you are The Man To Lead.

Ladies and gentlemen of District 6, voting Rick Igou into office would be an atrocity. You are simply misguided and ignorant to give him a single vote for this office. Let me summarize what Nooga.com says about its author.
Rick Igou runs the website equivalent of a trailer park and to call it journalism or a news source is easily laughable given the content: pictures of half-naked women, YouTube videos of people blowing things up, putting them in a blender or simply acting incredibly stupid at any given time, anecdotal stories, joke and top ten lists culled from late night talk shows. Links to eBay auctions, misspelled words (intentional or otherwise) and abundant pop ads do NOT belong on news sites. Not to mention that there is also hypothetical and fictional news that often mimics world events with a perverted twist. Other news headlines are simply linked from CNN.
All of this website content reveals that it is overwhelmingly ludicrous to believe this is the type of individual that you want to elect in this district. The pictures of Rick on his own site often portray the appearance of a person in a stupor. Rick, in his own rants, has admitted to missing medication for his personality disorder and explained his involvement in public altercations with his wife.
Take a look and decide for yourself. Nooga.com is an embarrassment to our fine city and easily tells the voting public that the candidate lacks the class and seriousness to deal with municipal issues.

I think that Mr. Herndon may have confused Rick Igou's sense of humor for a lack of seriousness. While Mr. Igou will most certainly take his duties, responsibilities and tasks at hand seriously while in office, he does posess the ability to not take himself too seriously.
When people are faced with adversity in their lives, some cry while others laugh, Suffice it to say that Mr. Igou falls into the latter category.
If you want a councilman who is accessible, easy to talk to and hard working, then you need look no further than Rick Igou. I think we can all say that the current council has had more than its share of drama. It's time for some new blood and some new ideas. I say - Let's Give Rick a Chance.
