Corker Says Trent Lott To Be Missed In Senate

Sen. Bob Corker (R-TN) made the following statement regarding Senate Republican Whip Trent Lott’s (R-MS) decision to resign from the Senate at the end of the year.

"As a new senator, I've benefited greatly from Trent's knowledge and experience about how to effectively make a difference in the United States Senate," said Sen. Corker.

"For more than three decades, Sen. Lott has been a great public servant to the people of Mississippi in Congress and his strong leadership will be greatly missed.

I extend my best wishes to Trent, and his wife Patricia, as they begin the next phase of their lives together."

The Criminal Investigation Division of the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office is requesting help from the public in attempting to locate James L. McNeese. Mr. McNeese, 62, is described as balding, weighing approximately 180 pounds, and 5’9”. He wears glasses.
