Crying Wolf About Global Warming

Friday, November 30, 2007

Everyone needs to go to the American Thinker.com to read a story about global warming. Dr. John Brignell has compiled a list of 600 stories written about global warming. What is so interesting is that these all tell us how global warming is going to destroy us or some part of our world. All 600 media articles ascribe everything under the sun that is being destroyed or is going to be destroyed by global warming.

Mr. Brignell says he wants to expose all of the scares, junk, panics, and flummery cooked up by the media, politicians, and so called scientists who are trying to fool us with their numbers and drummed up fear.

You need to look at this because it points out that these warming nuts are drumming up fears about everything under the sun. Global warming is causing Arctic lakes disappear, Arctic in bloom, billions of deaths, birds return early, blackbirds stop singing, building collapse, Cholera, circumcision in decline, coral reefs dying, coral reefs grow, coral reefs shrink, and so on. I have never seen all of stories of despair listed. It just shows to me how negative these people live their lives and probably most of them are wanting to get funding for whatever issue they are pushing. f all of these areas of the world were truly being destroyed then we should all be dead. It is just like the health nuts who tell not eat something today and next year they tell us we need to eat what they just told us not to eat. These same type of people tell us our kids need exercise and yet they don't want them to play contact sports or do any activity that may hurt them.

They are crying wolf not to save the world but make us live in fear so we will fall down at their predictions and seek them to save us. I again believe whatever warming that is occurring is nothing more than a natural weather pattern and we should adapt to it, not live in fear of the change.

A Good School Takes Involvement

As I have read the articles concerning Normal Park School I can’t keep from thinking when our children started to school in the 1960‘s. The two elementary schools in the city that were considered tops were Barger and Woodmore. We did not live in the zone for either school so we looked for a house to buy that was zoned for Woodmore.   We found ... (click for more)
