Movie Extras Needed For Universal Pictures Film

Thursday, February 01, 2007

People are needed to work as background extras for the Universal Pictures film “Leatherheads.” Extras casting director Tona B. Dahlquist (of “Forrest Gump”) says “All types and all ages are needed.”

Those interested in being considered must mail a non-returnable current snapshot of themselves.

“Photos can be a basic snapshot printed off a computer or even a Polaroid. We just want it to be very current and look like the individual. This is a 1920’s era film and certain looks are required,” states Dahlquist.

Filming is scheduled to begin in February of 2007 in various regions of North and South Carolina.

The production company will also be filming one day in March in the Chattanooga area.

Background extras will be needed for filming that day.

"Leatherheads” will star Oscar winners George Clooney and Renee Zellweger. Mr. Clooney is also slated to direct this 1920’s romantic comedy.

We Are Blessed To Have Ron Littlefield As Our Mayor - And Response

Chattanooga is blessed beyond measure to have Ron Littlefield as our mayor.  It is a total travesty our city has had to endure the long frivolous battle with absolutely  no foundation other than disagreement with policy issues.  It has always been a vendetta directed personally at Mayor Littlefield which, if the "interveners" decide to appeal, will be a proven fact.   ... If “time is money,” the whole deal cost us millions of dollars and even more ... (click for more)
