George Thomas Narramore, 81, died at NHC Healthcare in Dunlap on Monday, Feb. 12, 2007.

Mr. Narramore was preceded in death by his wife, Bertie Rae Narramore; two sons, David Lee and Rayburn Lynn Narramore; grandson, Aaron Narramore; two sisters; and four brothers.

He is survived by his two daughters, Ethel Jane (Levan) Gooden, of Hixson, and Evelyn Jean (Ted) Whitaker, of Soddy-Daisy; two sons, Lester Thomas (Charlotte) Narramore and Leslie Joe (Sue) Narramore, both of Dunlap; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. CST Wednesday in Ewton Funeral Home chapel with Minister Terry Barker officiating. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery.

Visitation is from 8 a.m.-8 p.m. CST Tuesday.

Arrangements are by Ewton Funeral Home, 6936 Highway 28, Dunlap.

Motorcyclist Killed In Wreck On E. 34th Street

Firefighters Respond To House Fire Friday Afternoon On Cameron Lane

The  Chattanooga Fire Department responded to 4921 Cameron Lane on a residential house fire on Friday around  12:30 p.m. The homeowner said that he returned home to see smoke coming from his roof top vents.
