A seven-year-old Dayton girl died last Tuesday after a bout with the flu.
Heaven Negron was a first grader, who had not had any health problems before.
She died at T.C. Thompson Children's Hospital after being diagnosed with type-B influenza.
She started showing signs of the flu on Monday and was taken to a doctor in Dayton. She was moved to Children's Hospital after her condition worsened.
