Jordan Lewis pitched a three-hitter Monday afternoon as Boyd-Buchanan defeated Tyner, 12-1, in a District 5-AA fastpitch softball game at Tyner.
The victory gave Boyd-Buchanan (21-14, 9-1) the regular season district championship and the top seeding for the upcoming district tournament.
McMinn Central lost, 2-1, to Meigs County on Monday, helping Boyd-Buchanan earn the top seeding.
The Lady Bucs will play host to a district tournament game on Thursday at 5 p.m.
Lewis struck out only one Monday, but was 2-for-3 with a double.
Erica Morris had a double and two RBI for the Lady Bucds and Kaitlyn Holcomb scored three runs.
Jeffiner Downs was 2-for-4 with a double and three RBI and Sheena Hixson had a triple and two RBI.
