Waitress Owing Almost $28,000 Tops City Parking Ticket Scofflaws

19 Others Owe More Than $5,000

Wednesday, June 27, 2007

A waitress at the Big River Grille downtown tops the current list of city parking ticket scofflaws, city officials said.

Anna P. Brazzell owes the city court clerk's office $27,948.06, officials said.

City Court Clerk Ed Hammonds said Ms. Brazzell is often ticketed parking on Broad Street near the restaurant.

Mr. Hammonds said the big bill has been turned over to a collection agency.

Ms. Brazzell, who was on duty at the restaurant on Wednesday, declined comment.

Crystal R. Blevins owes the city $17,876.55, officials said.
