Kenneth R. Davis, 86, of Collegedale, died on January 16, 2008 in a local hospital.

Originally from Green Bay, Wi., Mr. Davis had been a resident of Collegedale for the past 67 years. He was a member of Collegedale Seventh day Adventist Church.

Mr. Davis was retired from Southern Adventist University as Director of Testing and Counseling and was former Dean of Men and Dean of Students. He was a longtime supporter of the Student Association.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Davis.

He is survived by his daughters, Mariellen Davis, South Lyon, Mi., and Peggy Elkins, Collegedale; brother, E.Robert Davis, Green Bay, Wi.; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Private services will be held for the family only.

Memorial contributions may be made to the K.R. Davis Scholarship Fund, PO Box 370, Collegedale, Tn. 37315.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home, East Brainerd Road.
