BGA Edges Baylor With Late Touchdown In DII

FRANKLIN, Tenn. – Baylor’s Red Raiders almost ruined homecoming for Battle Ground Academy on Friday night.

BGA needed a 31-yard pass from James Ramsey to Chris Reeves with 48 seconds left in beating Baylor, 24-21, in a Division II high school football game.

BGA improved to 7-0 and 3-0 in DII while Baylor dropped to 2-5 and 0-4.

Baylor held BGA to 67 yards rushing, but Ramsey completed 18 of 24 passes for 307 yards.

Sam Williams had 29 carries for 168 yards for Baylor and Pickett added 52 yards on seven carries.

Brett Murray had 118 return yards for Baylor.

I would like to thank Judge Mattice for handing down a 30.5 year sentence for Kathleen Mathews.  Obviously, no amount of jail time, fines, or lashings can bring back Tim Chapin.   A 30-year sentence will, however, make the world just a little safer.  That's what Sgt.
