Services Select’s hosted their third annual Business Excellence Day luncheon for all 2008 Seal of Satisfaction award recipient company owners and executives. Business Excellence Day is an annual educational, business-focused event providing special guest speakers and seminars beneficial to the Seal of Satisfaction recipient companies.

Congressman Zach Wamp was the keynote speaker, addressing Seal of Satisfaction award recipient business owners and executives. He congratulated the Seal recipient attendees for their dedication to customer/client satisfaction and business excellence. Congressman Wamp discussed the previous day’s failure of the business bailout package and the revisions he thought would be necessary to allow passage through both Houses of Congress.

Ginger Duggan, Business Development Specialist from Chattanooga State Continuing Education Department was a guest speaker presenting a live, on-line demonstration of a new business resource that Services Select, corporately, will be providing all 2009 Seal of Satisfaction award recipient companies beginning January 1, 2009 for Operations, Customer Service, Finance, Human Resources, and Marketing.

The Seal of Satisfaction certification mark and award is presented annually by Services Select. An independent research firm conducts the nomination survey process with local consumers, who nominate professional services businesses based on customer satisfaction and business excellence. Based on designated evaluation criteria and stringent quality requirements, the independent research company provides Services Select with a certified, pre-qualified list of finalist companies for consideration for the Seal of Satisfaction certification mark and award.

Services Select conducts an evaluation review and interview with finalist companies. Seal of Satisfaction recipients agree to uphold Services Select’s highest standards of business excellence and customer satisfaction.

Ammonia Leak At BASF On Amnicola Highway Causes Major Traffic Backups

An Anhydrous Ammonia leak at BASF Corporation on Amnicola Highway is causing major traffic issues this morning. Woman Shot Up To 8 Times In East Chattanooga Murder

Chattanooga Police pfficers responded Monday night to 1907 Daisy St. in East Chattanooga on a report of a woman who had been shot.  When they arrived around 9 p.m., they found a female inside the business who had been shot 4-6 times.
