CBL Announces Unique Holiday Marketing Initiatives

Wednesday, November 26, 2008

CBL & Associates Properties, Inc. announced Wednesday that in preparation for the holiday selling season, and to better assist CBL's retail partners, a series of unique marketing initiatives are currently underway to inform and invite consumers to frequent CBL malls for their holiday shopping needs.
Barb Faucette, vice president of mall marketing for CBL & Associates Properties, Inc., said, "Our goal is to provide a positive shopping experience complemented with value and price-conscious offerings."

New campaigns for 2008 include partnerships with Coca-Cola and other national organizations that enable the malls to bring fun, entertaining and rewarding programs to the shoppers. Additionally, CBL malls will be giving away five SmartCars through Dec. 14.

Holiday shoppers across the United States are taking advantage of the more than one million coupon books currently in distribution from CBL Shopping Centers.

Sponsored in part by Coca-Cola, the free treat yourself to seasonal savings coupon book is filled with special discounts and offers from local and national retailers. Coupon books offer consumers a variety of offers to choose from and, more importantly, potential savings anywhere from $250 to $1,000.

This portfolio-wide marketing effort includes substantial discount offers from national retailers such as Ann Taylor LOFT, Bed, Bath & Beyond, The Buckle, Build-A-Bear Workshop, Cache', Champs Sports, Christopher & Banks, Express, Foot Locker, Finish Line, The Gap, Hallmark, Jos. A. Bank, Limited, New York & Company, Radio Shack, Select Comfort and more.

This Friday, CBL will announce the second winner in their Smart Fortwo Car Giveaway. From now until Dec. 14 customers can go online to any of the CBL shopping center websites to download an entry form or pick up an entry form at the malls' customer service center or mall office.

Customers may drop off their entry form at any CBL mall or mail it directly to the shopping center management office. For more details and a complete list of rules and regulations, go to http://www.cblproperties.com/cbl.nsf/CBLMallsSmartCarGiveaway.pdf.

Gas prices have been a topic of conversation and concern all year. To help people complete their shopping needs and feel rewarded at the same time, CBL has introduced a unique gift card promotion that rewards shoppers with a free gas card worth $15, via mail-in rebate.

Another reason to shop CBL malls this holiday season is simply for the opportunity to win a trip for a family of four to Mexico. Shoppers may enter at customer service centers at CBL malls across the country or on-line at respective mall websites.

Thank You, Judge Mattice And Chattanooga

I would like to thank Judge Mattice for handing down a 30.5 year sentence for Kathleen Mathews.  Obviously, no amount of jail time, fines, or lashings can bring back Tim Chapin.   A 30-year sentence will, however, make the world just a little safer.  That's what Sgt. Chapin would have wanted.  He was a protector and sacrificed his life so the rest of ... (click for more)
