Parkridge East Hosts Birth Place Open House

Thursday, November 06, 2008

To celebrate the remodeling of the Birth Place lobby, Parkridge East Hospital will hold an open house on Nov. 13 from 5–7 p.m.

The event will be highlighted by a special photography showing of “Parkridge East Babies” by Rhonda Mathis Photography.

“My three children were delivered at Parkridge East,” said Ms. Mathis, a local photographer in Chattanooga. “The compassionate nature of the staff at Parkridge East was evident from the moment that I arrived at the hospital. Even now, as I walk the halls of the hospital, I feel a connection that I cannot explain. This project exemplifies the personal atmosphere that the hospital conveys and I feel privileged to be working with Parkridge East on redecorating the Birth Place.”

Comprised of photographs of babies born at Parkridge East Hospital, the “Parkridge East Babies” display is the product of a new partnership between Parkridge East and Rhonda Mathis Photography.

Parents of babies born during the first part of this year were given the opportunity to submit a candid photograph of their baby and a limited number were randomly chosen to win a free session with Rhonda Mathis Photography. All of these portraits will be displayed in the lobby of the Birth Place at Parkridge East, courtesy of Rhonda Mathis Photography.

We Are Blessed To Have Ron Littlefield As Our Mayor - And Response (2)

Chattanooga is blessed beyond measure to have Ron Littlefield as our mayor.  It is a total travesty our city has had to endure the long frivolous battle with absolutely  no foundation other than disagreement with policy issues.  It has always been a vendetta directed personally at Mayor Littlefield which, if the "interveners" decide to appeal, will be a proven fact.   ...
