I would like to personally thank the election commission staff and the more than 900 poll workers that helped ensure that Tuesday’s general election went as smooth as possible. By working with such a great staff, we were able to meet the few minor challenges that did arise, head-on.
Congratulations on a job exceptionally well done.
We know of no major problems, no major glitches and no major surprises that interfered with the more than 148,000 Hamilton County residents that exercised their right to vote during this election. Due to the dedication and hard work of all that were involved in this election cycle, Hamilton County lived up to its long-held tradition of conducting open, fair and honest elections.
We also want to acknowledge and thank the local news media outlets that gave us great coverage during this election cycle.
Thanks to all of you, Tuesday was a remarkable day for Hamilton County.
