Nathan Lindley To Operate New Restaurant At Warehouse Row

Friday, November 07, 2008

Nathan Lindley, founder of the popular St. John's Restaurant on the Southside, plans to operate a new restaurant at Warehouse Row on 11th Street.

The owners of Warehouse Row are currently underway with a multi-million-dollar renovation and have signed a new restaurant for the south end of the property. John Jewell of Crye-Leike Commercial Real Estate negotiated the deal between Jamestown Warehouse Row, LP and Palace Food Inc. for a restaurant to be called "Public House".

Mr. Lindley also started Meeting Place next to the St. John's and WaterMark in Nashville.

With the opening of Public House, he will relocate to Chattanooga, and anticipates opening in April of 2009, it was stated.

The restaurant will serve lunch and dinner. The final details regarding the menu are being worked out.

Mr. Lindley's brother, Daniel Lindley, currently operates the St. John's Restaurant.

Exterior work will begin in the upcoming weeks by the landlord and includes a new facade to the south end of Warehouse Row, Mr. Jewell said. A new material will cover the exterior and an outdoor patio is planned for restaurant patrons.

A section near 11th and Lindsay that was once a small park is being reworked to provide a number of parking spaces for the new restaurant and for the remainder of Warehouse Row.

Mr. Jewell is a vice president with Crye-Leike Commercial Real Estate in Chattanooga and works with both landlords and tenants primarily for office and retail space. His office is located at 1201-C Market St.

Thank You, Judge Mattice And Chattanooga

I would like to thank Judge Mattice for handing down a 30.5 year sentence for Kathleen Mathews.  Obviously, no amount of jail time, fines, or lashings can bring back Tim Chapin.   A 30-year sentence will, however, make the world just a little safer.  That's what Sgt. Chapin would have wanted.  He was a protector and sacrificed his life so the rest of ... (click for more)

Ah, step into my parlor of first-hand wisdom because, in the School of Hard Knocks, there are priceless lessons that you should know before it becomes your turn to dance. There are two big nerves that sprout out of the ... (click for more)
