Angel Food Ministries Partners With Carpenter's Cowboy Church

Wednesday, December 03, 2008

Angel Food Ministries and their local host site, the Carpenter's Cowboy Church of Chattanooga has initiated a Specialty Christmas Meal Box which includes everything for a Christmas dinner including the dressing. Each box includes enough food to feed six to seven people, for a total cost of just $35.

The Carpenter's Cowboy Church and their co-host the River of Life Church are taking orders now through Monday, December 8th. This special project is to get as many orders for those who would not be financially able to order a box of their own so the project is looking for people to donate for others.

The project goal is 200 Christmas boxes to feed a Christmas dinner to a family who would otherwise have none.

The Carpenter's Cowboy Church has been a local site for the Angel Food Ministries for the past eight years. Angel Food is an organization dedicated to providing affordable, high-quality food at a very affordable price - about $80 worth of food for a family of four for just $30 a box. It provides families and individual with fresh, brand name food for a fraction of the retail price. Angel Food Ministries serves hundreds of thousands of families across 37 states and the District of Columbia. The Carpenter's Cowboy Church recently partnered with River of Life Church to meet the needs of hungry people in this area and has been responsible, due to patrons with big hearts, for being able to give away boxes of food every month for the past several years.

The orders have to be made no later than Monday, December 8th by noon. Orders may be called in at 423 886-0230. Anyone may order for whatever reason. There are no qualifications for taking advantage of this ministry and this bargain.

Thank You, Judge Mattice And Chattanooga

I would like to thank Judge Mattice for handing down a 30.5 year sentence for Kathleen Mathews.  Obviously, no amount of jail time, fines, or lashings can bring back Tim Chapin.   A 30-year sentence will, however, make the world just a little safer.  That's what Sgt. Chapin would have wanted.  He was a protector and sacrificed his life so the rest of ... (click for more)

There are two big nerves that sprout out of the ... (click for more)
