Terry Lee Smith, 49, of Soddy-Daisy, died on Monday, Feb. 11, 2008, at a local hospital.
He was of the Church of God faith and was an avid fisherman.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dean Smith.
He is survived by his daughter, Rebecca Goins; and three grandchildren, all of Alabama; brothers, James T. Bunch, Larry Smith, both of Soddy-Daisy, Jimmy Smith, of South Carolina; sisters, Billie Mae Stewart, Merita Sue Hindman, both of Soddy-Daisy, Frances McClain, of Rockwood, Wilma Bethune, of East Ridge, Molly; several nieces and nephews. He was loved by all and will be truly missed.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Kenneth Essex officiating. Interment will follow at Dodd Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be William Leffew, Michael Downs, Bo Neal, David Dowell, Tim Hicks, John Pascue and Tim Hindman.
His family will receive friends from 2-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
