Smith, Timothy Lebron

Timothy Lebron Smith, 16, of Ringgold, died Saturday, March 1, 2008.

He was born in Chattanooga and had been a lifelong resident of Catoosa County. He attended Ringgold High School where he was a sophomore. He enjoyed time on his computer with MySpace and RunEscape. He attended Gospel Way Baptist Church in the Graysville community.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Ernest E. and Grace Smith; grandparents, John Arthur and Barbara Olene Daugherty; and uncles, Ernest Lebron Smith and Troy Leon Jones.

He is survived by his father, Timothy Earl Smith; mother and step-father, Tammy and William Greg Dickey; sisters, Natasha Nicole Smith and Amanda LaShelle Malone; grandparents, Charles E. and Betty Jo Smith, all of Ringgold, and several cousins, aunts and uncles.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 2-9 p.m., all day Thursday and Friday morning until the service.

Services will be Friday at 4 p.m. in the chapel with Minister Clifford Herd officiating.

Burial will follow at New Liberty Cemetery in the Graysville community.

Henry Coffelt, 89, of Sequatchie, Tn., died Friday, February 10, 2012. He was a retired coal miner, having worked there for 22 years. Pickup Truck Crosses To Wrong Side Of Hixson Pike: Other Driver Killed

A pickup truck went across Hixson Pike into the opposing lane of traffic on Saturday afternoon, then struck another vehicle. The driver of that car was killed.
