Northwestern Technical College is honoring the night students of the practical nursing program who graduate this quarter.

“So many of our evening students are working full-time jobs during the day,” said Don Foley, Director of Public Relations and Marketing at Northwestern Technical College. “We want them to truly feel the reward when they graduate. For many, it’s not just the student that has worked hard for this. The family may have sacrificed, too.”

Dorm Wars Competes For Charity

The fight for the title of “Dorm Wars Champion” will begin Feb. 20 at 8 p.m. in Lee University’s Walker Arena. Ten residence halls come together to compete in a number of races and games in the annual Dorm Wars Competition. Mother Of Man Charged With Killing Sgt. Chapin Given Prison Sentence Of 30 Years, 6 Months

The mother of the man charged with killing Chattanooga Police Sgt. I would like to thank Judge Mattice for handing down a 30.5 year sentence for Kathleen Mathews.  Obviously, no amount of jail time, fines, or lashings can bring back Tim Chapin.   A 30-year sentence will, however, make the world just a little safer.  That's what Sgt.
