Naomi Burkhalter
Lillian Naomi Burkhalter, 77, of Chattanooga, died on Saturday, April 19, 2008 at her home.
She was born in Chattanooga, to the late Elisha and Lizzie Mae (Tate) Tosh, and was preceded in death by her brothers, H.J. and Melvin Tosh.
Naomi was owner and operator of Naomi’s Beauty Shop, and was a member of River of Life Church in Rossville, Morris Cerullo World Evangelism “Gods Victorious Army," on her Radio Broadcast on 1490 AM “Proof Producers," and an avid Bible Teacher and Prayer Warrior.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Hiram Burkhalter, of Chattanooga; daughter and son-in-law, Rene and Charlie Bell of Hixson; son, Chuck Burkhalter of Chattanooga; three grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, at River of Life Church. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
Her family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Monday at River of Life Church, 377 Direct Connection Drive, Rossville, Ga. 30741.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to River of Life Church, or Morris Cerrello World Evangelism.
