Ethan Collins, 8, from Chattanooga, took a break from enjoying his orange popsicle to receive a visit from Kung Fu Panda’s Po during his stay at T.C. Thompson Children’s Hospital.
Four days after the national opening of the new DreamWorks movie, Kung Fu Panda, three main characters of the movie were found roaming the hallways of T.C. Thompson Children’s Hospital presenting souvenirs to young patients.
Po, Tigress and Viper costumes were all created by Betty Ulrey, who works in management at Carmike Cinemas. Movie posters, stickers and popcorn were delivered by the Ms. Ulrey and the Carmike Team so that all the children could have a piece of movie magic.
Po, the Kung Fu Panda, also demonstrated a few martial art moves in front of the children and their families, teaching them to be the best they can be and that they, too, can be anything they want to be.
