Crime Stoppers: Theft At Homestead Lawn And Tractor

Crime Stoppers needs help in finding the people responsible for stealing 11 mowers from Homestead Lawn and Tractor at 5112 Highway 153 in Hixson on June 10, between the hours of 5:30 p.m. and 8 a.m. the next day.

An employee of Homestead told Chattanooga police officers the mowers were located outside the business on the south side of the building and were secured by a chain. Evidence on the scene showed that the suspects cut the chain with bolt cutters and loaded the mowers on a large truck. Officers found bolt cutters that were left behind at the scene.

Some of the mowers were new and some were used. There was also a John Deere Gator stolen.

The total loss is over $45,000.
