The Tennessee Department of Health has confirmed the state's seventh case of Salmonella Saintpaul, the strain associated with the current FDA advisory. This case involves a resident of Davidson County, who is believed to have become ill in early June.

According to the CDC, more than 880 people in 38 states and the District of Columbia have been associated with this multi-state outbreak.
