West Tennessee spoiled a night of fireworks at sold out AT&T Field Thursday by defeating the Lookouts, 7-6.
Fielding errors continue to plague Chattanooga and West Tenn capitalized by scoring three unearned runs in the first inning off starting pitcher Jordan Smith.
Trailing 3-2, the Lookouts took the lead with three runs in the bottom of the fifth.
Two two-run homers in the sixth and seventh innings respectively put the Diamond Jaxx in front for good.
Ironically, Chattanooga outhit the visitors 12-to-7.
Eric Eymann hit his fourth homer of the year, a solo shot, for the Lookouts in the third inning.
Reliever Michael Hrynio (2-1) suffered the loss. He went 1 1/3 innings, yielding three runs that included two homers.

Chattanooga hits the road to play a four-game series against Atlanta's Double-A team, the Mississippi Braves, managed by former Lookouts' skipper Phillip Wellman (of You Tube fame). The M-Braves are currently in first place In the Southern League's South Division.

The Lookouts (7-9) will return to AT&T Field on Tuesday, July 8th to play a five-game homestand against the Huntsville Stars (8-8).
