Hullco Exteriors Recognized For "Green" Commitment

Wednesday, August 06, 2008

Hullco Exteriors, Inc. has been named the exclusive Verde Window dealer for Chattanooga by Sunrise Windows, located in Temperance, Mich.

Hullco Exteriors, which has sold and installed windows for 30 years, has been recognized for their commitment to environmentally-friendly business practices by accepting one of the few special invitations to be a member of the Verde Program.

"Hullco Exteriors has been invited to participate in the Verde Program because they meet our strict criteria of dedication to green building practices, community involvement, industry involvement, and on-going environmental education, not to mention their professional levels of sales, service, installation, and after-the-sale support," said Mike Roncato, Vice President of Sales of Sunrise Windows. "Their integrity in the marketplace is impressive, and we are proud to be partnering with them to offer Chattanooga area homeowners a superior, sustainable replacement window system."

"This is a unique opportunity that we are honored to be chosen for," said Matt Hullander, president of Hullco. "Everything about the program falls in line with our desire to provide products and services that help our planet. We believe every positive action adds up and that everyone has the opportunity to change the world and make it a better place to live. This Program brings to our area the kind of window people have been waiting for a long time- they save you money, add value and beauty to your home, are incredibly easy to care for, and come with a 40% Energy Savings Pledge. One of our favorite things about the Program is the partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation."

Beyond providing the exclusive Verde window line, Hullco Exteriors has signed an agreement to observe green building practices, such as job-site and office recycling, and to participate in community environmental efforts.

One unique feature of the Verde Program of special interest to homeowners is the partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation, in which homeowners will receive a complimentary one year membership and receive 10 trees of their choice to be delivered to them or sent to another home or institution. Several varieties of trees are available.

Hullco Exteriors is located at 7110 E. Brainerd Road.

Roy Exum: So How Am I Really Doing?

I’ve gotten hundreds of jokes since Tuesday when I wrote about feeling a little puny lately and expressing my belief that laughter is the best medicine. After breaking some bones in my arm as I slept last week and having no idea there were already some other fractures, it looked pretty certain I had a case of “The Big C.” I’ve always felt that stands for “courage” but the medical ...
